I believe that the best work is done in a safe space filled with positive energy. My studio is a "no judgment" zone. Whether my students are 6 years old or 30, all opinions, experiences, and questions are valid; all have the potential to unlock the most challenging of texts ranging from Shakespeare to Shepard. As a team, my students and I work together to bring passion, spontaneity, and a sense of joy and play to their work. I tailor lessons to my students' interests and help them to apply solid acting technique and bring a strong sense of self to their material.
Currently, I am an acting instructor at The Studio: A School for the Performing Arts in New Canaan, CT. For the past two years, I have taught both private acting lessons and classes to a range of ages (6-20 years old) and experience levels (beginners to Broadway).
I also have taught acting courses at Ohio University and was a Shakespeare for Performance teaching assistant at St. Paul's School's prestigous summer Advanced Studies Program.
